Although the original intention of treating musical instruments was to eliminate structural weaknesses in some woodwind and brass pieces, treatment has been found to deliver instruments that produce truer pitch. Cryogenic treatment allows individual musicians to achieve a broader range with the same instrument after treatment than was possible prior to treatment.

Instruments include:

  • Brass - trumpets, trombones, horns
  • Strings - steel guitar strings; violin, cello and double bass strings
  • Woodwind - saxophones, flutes
  • Piano strings stay tuned for longer and deliver cleaner sound
